The Uncommon Thread

Divine Lace - Hemlock

Approx 50g – 53% super baby alpaca, 34% silk, 13% cashmere
400m (440yds) per 50g – lace weight

It doesn't get much softer than this. This yarn is so divine, you'll want to keep it next to you to stroke and soothe you. Or, ok, you can knit it too! It'll make beautiful, fluffy lace shawls, or can be knitted together with other yarns to add a very soft fuzzy texture. By far the softest yarn in our collection. Think pedigree kittens.

Handwash cool, lay flat to dry.

20% VAT will be charged on parcels being sent within the UK, EU VAT at your country's rate

As with other hand dyed yarns, we would recommend alternating skeins every two rows or so.

We care deeply about the environment and we're aware of the effects that chemicals can have on it, so we make every effort to exhaust all dyes in the dyebath so that no nasties go down the plughole. It is not always possible to exhaust *all* the dye, all the time, especially with certain dyeing techniques, so if you intend on using your yarn for colourwork or with paler colours it pays to give it a wash first, just to be sure.

We try to ensure all colours look true on our monitor but they can vary substantially. If you’re unsure about a particular colourway please get in touch!
